Synopsis

Someone had changed the code on my front door. On the third day of my business trip, I got a notification from the property management app: [Your smart lock code has been changed.] I read it three times to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I called David Clark. He said, "Huh? I didn't change it. Maybe it's just a system glitch." I didn't say anything. I hung up and canceled my flight for tomorrow. Then I booked a ticket for tonight.
