Chloe turned to Ryan and smiled, her words coming out slow and steady. "Never. Even if he begged me, I wouldn't get back together with him."

The moment she said it, Ryan's face darkened, and the temperature in the room dropped again.

Chloe looked away and spun the bottle once more.

It landed on her again, and she picked truth or dare again.

This time, the dare was to sit on the lap of whoever was sitting to her right.

Ryan couldn't take it anymore. He grabbed Chloe's wrist and dragged her out of the room.
