There was another page in that notebook, where he wrote down his biggest regret in life.

It wasn't twelve years spent running deliveries.

It wasn't being broke, homeless, and single.

It was the year his dad was still alive. His dad called, saying the sweet potatoes were ready and he should come home to pick them up. He was too busy to come home.
