When I woke up again, the first thing I saw was the white ceiling and the sharp smell of hospital disinfectant.

Wynnie let out a sigh of relief. "You're finally awake. When I got to your place, you were feverish and completely unconscious. The doctor said you had moderate pneumonia, and if I'd arrived just half an hour later, things could've gotten really bad for you."

"Thanks, Wynnie," I said.

Wynnie handed me a glass of water. "Forget it. Your transfer's already been approved. If anything had happened to you, the company would've taken a huge hit."
