That evening after school, Ryan had barely dropped his backpack at home before running straight to my house and knocking on the door.

The door opened.

Ryan flashed a big grin. "Good evening, Mrs. Carter."

Linda blinked in surprise. It had been a whole month since Ryan last dropped by. "Ryan, come on in."

Ryan nodded and followed her inside. As soon as he walked in, he spotted a bunch of big suitcases. He was puzzled and asked, "Mrs. Carter, what's with all the luggage? Are you all going on vacation?"

Linda shook her head. "We're moving."
