Sure enough, it wasn't long before Emily's phone started vibrating.

She glanced at the screen, her expression shifted instantly. She quickly switched it to silent and mouthed "Richard" to me."

I nodded, gesturing for her to ignore it.

We watched as the phone shook on the table, like a fish on its last breath. Again and again. Just as relentless as last night.

Finally, Emily couldn't take it anymore and powered off her phone.

"How did he even get my number?" Emily asked, a little freaked out.

"If he's looking for someone, there's no way he can't track them down,"…
