Chapter 7

At six in the morning, the St. Land campus was wrapped in a pale blue mist. I crouched behind a bush, eyes locked on a figure about fifty meters away. Andrea was wearing the St. Land school uniform, her ponytail swaying lightly behind her. She held a stuffed plastic bag in one hand.

This was the third day I'd been following her.

Ever since the talent competition, my opinion of Andrea had started to shift in a strange way.

The Andrea who'd kept her cool onstage and helped me out of that awkward moment didn't match the fake, pretentious image…
