Audrey suddenly pulled her hand back, her eyes cold and completely devoid of warmth. "Mr. Lester, heartbreak isn't something I treat," she said, rising to her feet.

Her gaze shifted to Gerald and Andrea, who were huddled in the corner. "If you want me to save Andrea, be at the Norton family's old house at ten tomorrow morning with my mother's belongings. If even one thing is missing, the surgery is off."

"Audrey, your mother's belongings were already—" Gerald stammered.
