Even though we'd only been dating for a few months, Theo already knew me pretty well.

When he saw me actually heading for the kitchen, he quickly followed me in.

Ivy called out to him twice, but he didn't even respond.

He gave me a somewhat ingratiating smile. "How about I cook, and you give me a hand?"

I stuck my hand out toward him, and he looked at me, confused.

I raised an eyebrow. "Didn't you say you just needed a hand? Well, hurry up and touch it, then I'm off to chill."
