Chapter 5

When I opened my eyes again, I was lying on a beach covered in multicolored pebbles.

I thought to myself that this was the place I had always wanted to visit, and that maybe death really did make dreams come true.

"Iris, hurry up! Didn't you always want to come here and collect beautiful pebbles?" Mom called out, her voice brimming with excitement.

I turned around and saw my parents on either side, gently guiding my little sister Iris between them.

My parents' faces were radiant with joy, their eyes shining with happiness.
