Then, after a call from my dad, the police arrived.

That was when Amy broke down. She sank to the floor, sobbing uncontrollably. "Mr. Sherman, I'm so sorry. Someone gave me 160 thousand dollars and told me to take the baby out tonight and hand her over to someone."
