Chapter 1
My sister was adopted by a billionaire, while I stayed behind, treated like a servant in a home that only valued sons.
Later, she was cast out and despised by everyone.
But I won the lottery, moved into a villa, and had a gorgeous guy devoted to me.
Consumed by jealousy, she ran me over with a car.
When I opened my eyes again, she refused to leave our parents' side, claiming, "Winifred would never put our brother first as I will. I'm the only one who'll leave him everything."
Later, my parents sold me off.
Before I was taken away, she mocked me. "Enjoy your happiness now. Your future's doomed. Meanwhile, I'm about to become the queen everyone envies."

I looked at the two couples in front of me.
The couple on the left was dressed to the nines. The woman was dripping in jewels, and the man was in a sharp suit with a flashy gold watch on his wrist.
In contrast, the other couple looked downright shabby. Their clothes were wrinkled and clearly worn from countless washes, but they just couldn't bring themselves to throw them away.
Standing next to them was a boy who looked about ten, with a rebellious, streetwise attitude.
"These two couples are here to adopt you. Which one do you like better?" the social worker asked.
Before I could even get a word out, Aurora Wilde darted ahead of me and flung herself into the arms of the woman in worn clothes.
Tears sparkled in her eyes as she sobbed, "Please, Mom, Dad, just let me stay. I swear, every penny I make will go to my little brother."
That made the poor woman light up with joy. She stopped looking at me and gazed down at Aurora, who was clinging to her.
The rich man turned to me and said, "She might be a bit quiet, but she's got that fresh, lively look. That's something."
Then, with one hand holding the boy and the other pointing at me, he couldn't wait to sign the adoption papers with the director.
So I got adopted, too. But just as I was about to leave, Aurora suddenly leaned in and whispered in my ear.
"Enjoy your happiness now. Your future's doomed. Meanwhile, I'm about to become the queen everyone envies," she said.
Oh? Was that so?
I knew exactly what Aurora was up to. She thought she was the only one who'd time-traveled, but little did she know, I'd done it, too.
It was just like in my previous life, but Aurora ran straight into the arms of that wealthy couple.
She thought she was about to rise to the top and live the life of luxury, but she had no idea that was only the start of her nightmare.
After being adopted, Aurora never expected to find herself living with an overachieving sister who excelled at everything.
She'd never had a good education growing up, and whether it was hobbies or academics, she was always falling behind her sister.
Because of that, the wealthy couple kept pushing Aurora harder and harder.
At first, Aurora tried her hardest to catch up to her sister, but as the gap between them kept growing, she just stopped caring and let things slide.
With her parents breathing down her neck, Aurora started cozying up to the rich kids in high society.
But everyone in that crowd knew she was just the adopted daughter; they treated her like a plaything, nothing more.
But Aurora was living in a fantasy; she thought she was everyone's favorite and dreamed of marrying into a wealthy family to finally shake off her adoptive parents.
Just when Aurora thought her fairy tale was about to come true, she got dumped, and everyone laughed at her for daydreaming.
Her adoptive parents couldn't stand the embarrassment, so they cut her off financially and threw her out of the house.
As for me, after I got adopted, things were anything but easy. The Wilde couple was all about their son, so they had me do all the chores. I was basically their unpaid servant.
Aurora knew every bit of it, and she'd always find a way to mock me in front of everyone at school.
When I got to college, I worked my way through and finally moved out of that place once and for all.
Thanks to my grades, the school gave me a full ride. I threw myself into every competition I could find and came out with a stack of trophies.
But the craziest part? At a startup competition, I actually took first place, and, of all things, the prize was a fat stack of lottery tickets.
Thanks to those tickets, I hit the jackpot and ended up living in a mansion I'd never even imagined I could call home.
And at school, the campus heartthrob fell for me at first sight.
Just when I was riding high, with both love and career going great, Aurora, after losing it all, showed up at my door.
She was absolutely livid, demanding to know why I got all the happiness while she was left with nothing. She told me straight up that she hated me.
And then, she got behind the wheel and mowed me down.
