Chapter 5

For the first time ever, Charles and Jason grabbed me and dragged me into the car. They seemed afraid I would take off, so they immediately drove me to Jason's school.

When the school administrators saw me, they looked totally baffled.

Charles put on a smile and said, "This is my wife. She misunderstood my relationship with Ms. Carter, so I brought her here to clear things up. Could we let the whole punishment thing for Ms. Carter slide?"
