Chapter 4

Ollie was finally starting kindergarten.

This was the "human right" I fought so hard to win from Lucas.

Lucas was against it at first.

"Werewolf pups don't need that kind of place," he frowned. "I'll teach him hunting, combat, our heritage."

I snapped back. "Ollie is human too. He needs to play, learn human knowledge, and develop social skills."

After a long silence, Lucas relented, but only on one condition: he must monitor Ollie at all times.

So Ollie's backpack now held books, snacks... and a special Lucas-designed tracker.

I rolled my eyes, but grudgingly accepted it for Ollie's sake.
