"Thanks." I let out a cold laugh in my mind, but didn't let it show on my face.

Olivia's smile grew wider as I took the wallet.

She turned back to the group and announced loudly, "Man, today's training was brutal. Once we're dismissed, I'll treat everyone to coffee. It's Yvonne's way of saying thanks for looking out for her."

The crowd erupted in cheers.

"Wow, Olivia, you're the best!"

"Awesome! I want mine extra sweet."

Olivia basked in the praise, shooting me a smug look.
