Peter told me I'd been unconscious for a long time. I'd had a fever the entire time, and things had gotten critical, but I'd pulled through in the end.

He asked if I wanted to move to a different city, somewhere that might help me recover faster.

I nodded.

Peter suggested Silverlake City. It was Hayes' family territory, so Julian couldn't touch me there.

I didn't care where I went, but I blinked in confusion. "Who's Julian?"

Since waking up, I'd forgotten a lot of things. Julian was one of them.
