"I'll give you a ride at 7:30 tomorrow morning," Kenelm said.

I frowned. "Thank you, Mr. Eland. How about I treat you to dinner tonight?"

Kenelm said casually, "You pick the restaurant. My treat."

I picked a restaurant with a good reputation and a nice atmosphere.

Once all the dishes were served, I casually snapped a quick selfie.

"Don't mind me, this one's for my mom. We're not officially a couple, after all," I said.

Kenelm paused, looking genuinely impressed. "Mind sending me a copy of that photo?"

I smiled to myself. "Of course."
