Synopsis

At our class reunion, my fiancée's ex showed up fresh from abroad. He proposed, and she accepted. Everyone stared at me, waiting for a reaction. Suddenly, some kind of system in my head malfunctioned, and all my feelings just vanished. I found myself raising a glass to toast their happiness like it meant nothing to me. After that, I drifted from city to city with no purpose. She eventually caught up with me, begging to know what had happened to the person I used to be. I had no answer for her. The man she'd loved was gone, and even I had no memory of who he'd been.
