"What?" I was completely confused. "A tumor? Are you saying I might have cancer?"

"Please try not to worry just yet." Lucy soothed me. "We can't say for sure at this point.

"There's a condition called a molar pregnancy. On an ultrasound, it looks like an early pregnancy, and your HCG levels would be unusually high.

"But your situation seems more complicated than a simple molar pregnancy.

"We also spotted some strange, irregular areas next to the gestational sac, places that look like they're spreading.

"Medically, we highly suspect invasive hydatidiform mole, or even choriocarcinoma."
