Chapter 4

I held onto Clyde's arm tightly, like a little girl worshipping her hero, drifting off to sleep with a smile on my face.

Clyde hugged me back, pulling me closer as we fell asleep together.

Clyde suddenly cried out in his sleep, "Who are you? Stop. Leave me alone."

Clyde had always been pampered, but now he was terrified, trapped in a nightmare.

I gently reassured him, "Don't worry, babe. I'm right here with you."

In the darkness, the thrill of revenge flooded through me.

I had to admit that I felt a guilty pleasure.
