Chapter 4

Edward looked pissed.

He quickly walked ahead, leaving me far behind.

I rushed after him, only to run right into his broad back.

Edward pointed up at the men's room sign overhead.

I let out an awkward laugh and stepped back.

There were still a few employees hanging around the office.

I spotted one of them, the woman who'd greeted Anna earlier that morning.

She caught sight of me and snarked, "Well, look who it is, the ex-Mrs. Sterling. What, camping out here all night just to catch Mr. Sterling?"

Another woman snickered along with her.

"She'll be waiting forever.…
