Jasmin was wrapped up tightly, lying in a private hospital bed. As the youngest triple-crowned actress in the entertainment industry, a top-tier star, and having been scandal-free for three years since her debut, she was now preparing for an abortion. "Your physique is special. After this miscarriage, it will be difficult for you to conceive naturally again. Have you thought this through?" Jasmin Ramsey nodded. This was the first request James had made of her in three years, and she didn't refuse. Cold instruments entered her body, causing Jasmin to shiver. She gripped the edge of her clothes tightly, silent tears slipping down her cheeks. This was her first child. Just as she tried to get out of bed, a tearing pain shot through her lower body. Jasmin's legs gave way, and she nearly collapsed to the floor. Gripping the bedframe with clenched teeth, she managed to stand. She carefully leaned against the wall as she made her way out the door. James was standing at the end of the hallway, his back turned as he was on the phone. When she saw his familiar figure, warmth flooded Jasmin's heart. No matter what happened over the years, he had always stayed by her side. When she was in pain from her period, he searched the entire country for top doctors to help her. When she fell from a stunt wire while filming, he canceled all his meetings and rushed back from overseas. Before a new film started, he would stay up late with her, reading the script over and over again. Jasmin gritted her teeth and moved forward slowly, each step bringing her closer. The closer she got, the clearer James's voice became. "Chloe is a newcomer with limited experience. She needs an older colleague to guide her into the industry. Jasmin is the most suitable person," he said. James stared out the window, his voice as calm as ever: "If Jasmin were pregnant at this time, Chloe, with her fragile nature, would suffer a lot. She's Jasmin's sister, and I can't just stand by and do nothing." "What about Jasmin? Will she agree?" Jasmin heard her assistant's voice from the other end of the phone. "She..." James paused.
