Alaya ran upstairs, tears streaming down her face.

Bailey gave me a dirty look and rushed after her.

I just smirked, not really caring.

Not wanting to be alone with Jasiah and Millie, I got up and stepped outside to get some air.

As I walked by the patio, I happened to overhear Bailey and Alaya talking.
