Harley groaned in pain.

I crouched down, calmly watching her face twist in agony and fear.

"Harley, what do you think Colson would do if he found out the 'baby' you claim to be carrying was never real, and that you and Dr. Gorman staged the whole thing?" I asked.

Suddenly, her eyes widened in terror.

Just then, the sound of a key turning in the lock echoed.

Harley's body tensed up immediately.

It was Colson. He was back.

What he saw was Harley lying on the floor, blood soaking her head, curled up in pain. I was nearby, crouching…
